Delete Your Account

    We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to delete your Forge account and all associated data, you have two options:

    Option 1: Delete Through the App

    1. Open the Forge app
    2. Go to Settings
    3. Tap Delete Account
    4. Confirm deletion

    Your account and data will be deleted immediately.

    Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

    If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

    Email: support@forgetrainer.ai

    Subject: Delete My Account

    Include: The email address associated with your Forge account

    Note that for security concerns the email must be sent from the email associated with the account.

    We will process your request within 30 days.

    Important: Cancel Your Subscription First

    Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must separately cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings before or after deleting your account to avoid further charges.

    What Gets Deleted

    When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

    • Profile information (name, email, date of birth, biological sex)
    • Body measurements and weight history
    • Workout plans and training programs
    • AI conversation history and chat messages
    • AI coaching profiles, memories, and knowledge graph data
    • Personal records
    • Profile picture and any submitted feedback screenshots
    • Training preferences and goals

    What May Be Retained

    Some data is retained for legal, compliance, or technical reasons:

    • Anonymized workout and usage data: Workout session records and AI usage logs are anonymized (your user identifier is removed) and may be retained for product analytics and service improvement. This data cannot be linked back to you.
    • Third-party service records: Some data already transmitted to third-party service providers (such as subscription management and analytics providers) may persist in those systems according to their own retention policies. We make reasonable efforts to propagate deletion requests where technically feasible.
    • Purchase records: Apple and Google retain transaction history for tax and refund purposes. We cannot delete this data — contact Apple or Google Play directly.
